The TV highlights at the IFA: These are the trends of tomorrow
At IFA 2023, the world's largest TV manufacturers showcase their new products. We present the TV highlights at a glance.
At the IFA 2023 in Berlin, the major TV manufacturers show where the journey is headed. Noticeable this year: the devices are getting even bigger - Samsung offers some models with a 114-inch screen diagonal. Also, OLED is not the end of display technology. More and more manufacturers are now using Micro LED technology, which is supposed to combine the advantages of OLED and LED.
We couldn't identify many extraordinary concepts. Some manufacturers continue to show transparent displays, which, from our point of view, currently bring no advantages but mainly disadvantages. The most interesting is certainly the battery TV from LG, which you can even take to the beach.
Sylvox - waterproof TVs
Manufacturer Sylvox presented some interesting TVs for special uses at the IFA. Among other things, the manufacturer offers a foldable kitchen TV that can be mounted under a hanging cabinet.

The screen can be rotated so the image can be seen from different angles. The device also features an LED clock display and an integrated timer. The recommended retail price is 639 euros, but there is currently a discount promotion from the manufacturer. During this, the TV device is available for 499 euros.
In addition, Sylvox has introduced a portable, waterproof TV that can even float on water. The device has a 10,000 milliamp-hour battery and offers Full HD resolution. Android is used as the operating system, so you can use various apps on the smart TV.

The maximum brightness is 400 nits, so the device is rather not suitable for use in bright sunlight. The MSRP for the model is 499 euros. There is also a bathroom TV from Sylvox that is waterproof and has another special feature.

The TV actually turns into a mirror when not in use. The device runs on Android 11, has a Full HD resolution, and a brightness of 650 nits. The manufacturer's recommended retail price is 799 euros.
