At the IFA 2023, the manufacturer Sylvox is present, specializing in multifunctional Smart TVs. They offer televisions that are not typical living room models. The portfolio includes, among other things, outdoor models protected against rain and sunlight, as well as bathroom models that are integrated into mirrors and are also waterproof. Additionally, a portable television and a kitchen Smart TV are offered. The press release includes price recommendations for Europe. Here in the country, the devices are also available accordingly.

Common smart TVs are hardly suitable for use in the garden, on the terrace, or on the balcony. Rain could render the screens unusable, and in strong sunlight, hardly anything of the picture can be seen. The Chinese company Sylvox has a solution in the form of outdoor models. These have a brightness of up to 2000 cd/m² and a dust and splash water protection according to IP55. In addition, the televisions are said to allow operation between a temperature of -30 degrees to +50 degrees Celsius.

The cheapest model in the 43-inch format costs 1,199 euros. The most expensive model in the 75-inch format costs 6,999 euros. All products have a resolution of UHD (4K). There are three different series. The Deck series uses a Linux operating system, the Deck Pro series uses Android 11, and the upcoming Deck Pro 2.0 will use Google TV. All televisions have a Wi-Fi connection, USB, and HDMI and support a variety of streaming apps - including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, and Paramount+.

In addition to outdoor TVs, the company also offers numerous devices for other applications. For example, there is a smart TV with a 15.6-inch screen that can be mounted under a hanging kitchen cabinet or on a wall shelf. It runs on Android 11, supports dual-band Wi-Fi, and is rotatable. An LED clock with timer and alarm functions makes kitchen work easier. The device currently costs 499 euros, with a regular price of 639 euros. Hidden smart TVs behind a mirror for the bathroom start at 799 euros. Floating televisions in the pool cost at least 499 euros.

The offer for private users is rounded off with 12V models. These are available in 22 inches for 370 euros or 24 inches for 406 euros. A DVD player is integrated. Due to the connection for the onboard voltage socket in cars and motorhomes, such devices are ideal camping companions. However, operation via a standard power outlet is also possible upon request. Until September 10, you will receive a cover or a soundbar for free with your Smart TV from Sylvox, depending on the model.
